OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong desire to contribute to the dental health field. Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Take and develop dental X-rays- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health- Perform various office tasks as needed Requirements- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis- Proficiency in taking X-rays and conducting vital signs- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and general dentistry practices- Strong understanding of infection control protocols- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 per week Ability to Commute: Buffalo, NY 14224 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Buffalo, NY 14224: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
