The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. The role involves assisting with patient care, maintaining clinical records, and contributing to a positive patient experience. The job starts in October. **Duties** – Assist dentists and hygienists during patient treatments, including but not limited to: cleaning, preparing, and maintaining treatment areas. – Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. – Take and develop dental X-rays and other diagnostic images. – Conduct dental hygiene procedures, including scaling and polishing. – Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort. – Monitor and maintain dental clinic records, including patient charts and medical documentation. – Utilize dental software, – Participate in medical imaging, including 3D scanner technology. – Assist with pediatric dental procedures, providing a calm and reassuring environment for young patients. – Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology and medical imaging. – Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment. – Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry, including prosthodontics, and attend training sessions as required. **Experience** – At least two years experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic environment. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and safety. – Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, dentists, and hygienists. – Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, lifting, and bending. – Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on creating a positive patient experience. **Skills** – Proficiency in dental terminology and medical imaging. – Experience with dental software, – Ability to learn and use 3D scanner technology and medical imaging equipment. – Strong communication and organizational skills.
