Dental Hygienist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. You will work closely with our dental team to deliver preventive dental services, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist in various dental procedures. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about patient care and has experience in a dental office environment. Duties Use of local anesthesia under direct supervision. Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for senior patients Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development and implementation of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment. Utilize medical imaging systems to capture high-quality radiographs as needed for diagnosis. Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care. Use Open Dental or similar dental software systems for scheduling, billing, and patient management. Provide support ensuring a comfortable experience for senior patients Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of infection control practices. Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental management software is an advantage. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
