Job Description Perform meticulous and comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, with a focus on patient comfort and care. Conduct thorough dental exams, assessing patients’ oral health and identifying any areas of concern. Capture dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition, with a strong emphasis on prevention and long-term oral health. Provide personalized advice and education tailored to each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle. Apply preventative treatments such as fluoride and sealants while explaining the benefits to patients in easy-to-understand terms. Build positive relationships with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit. Assist the dentist in explaining procedures and collaborating on treatment plans, always prioritizing patient-centered care. Document patient care, treatment plans, and progress in the dental software system with precision and accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment, following strict infection control protocols. Stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene advancements and continuously improve patient education strategies. Act as an advocate for exceptional patient experience, ensuring all interactions promote trust, comfort, and patient loyalty. Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in California. CPR/BLS certification. Extensive knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, patient education, and preventative care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on compassionate care and patient satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Passion for educating and empowering patients to take control of their oral health.
