Dental Hygienist (Pediatric Dental Office)

Part-Time (1 day per week, with potential for additional days as the office grows) About Us: We are a newer, single-doctor, non-corporate pediatric dental office dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a warm, friendly, and child-focused environment. We are passionate about creating a positive dental experience for children, building lasting relationships, and promoting lifelong dental health. Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and cheerful Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team for one day per week, with the potential to expand hours as our practice grows. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a gentle demeanor, and an enthusiastic approach to patient care. Responsibilities: Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants for pediatric patients Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques in an engaging and age-appropriate way Assist the dentist in identifying potential oral health concerns in young patients Maintain a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment in the treatment areas Maintain accurate patient records and comply with office protocols and infection control standards Requirements: Valid Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania Previous experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred Friendly, patient, and cheerful demeanor Strong communication skills and a talent for connecting with children and their families Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team Work Schedule: This is a part-time position for one day a week, with potential to add more days as our office grows. We are looking for availability on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
