Job Title: Dental Quality Assurance and Operations Manager Location: ALFA Dental Management Department: Administration Reports To: COO Position Type: Full-Time Job Summary: Quality Assurance and Operations Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and improvement programs with the clinical locations of the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of diversified clinical and operations support experience in dentistry and strong analytical and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Program Development: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures specific to dental care. Design and conduct quality assessments and audits to evaluate clinical and operational performance. Clinical and Operational Review: Review and analyze clinical records, treatment plans, and patient outcomes to ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Identify areas for improvement in clinical procedures, patient care, and operational processes. Staff Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs related to quality standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to staff on quality improvement initiatives and best practices. Patient Safety and Satisfaction: Implement and monitor patient safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Lead and facilitate quality improvement projects and initiatives. Utilize data and feedback to drive continuous improvements in patient care and operational efficiency. Qualifications Education: EDFA or CDA certification or a Associates or Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in quality management are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience of either dental office operations and/or clinical support. Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing quality improvement programs. Familiarity with Implant Dentistry and Digital Dentistry is a big plus. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff. Proficiency in Open Dental preferred. Working Conditions: Full-time position with standard office hours; may require occasional evening or weekend work. Office and clinical environment with moderate noise levels and potential exposure to dental materials and equipment.
