Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Manager to oversee the operations of our front desk at a boutique-style dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and have experience in presenting treatment plans to the patients. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently. Duties- Manage daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent patient service.- Oversee scheduling, coordinating appointments for patients while maintaining accurate records.- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before patient visits- insurance eligibility and benefit, pre-authorization information.- Provide clerical support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records in computerized systems.- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with staff and patients.- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering calls and addressing patient inquiries.- Present treatment plan to the patient and collect payment.- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care. Qualifications- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar clerical role within a healthcare setting is preferred.- Familiarity with dental terminology and scheduling practices is essential.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review.- Proficient in using computerized systems for record management (Opendental, DentalXchange).- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone and email etiquette.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service to all patients.
