Small Endodontic Dental Practice is seeking an experienced, reliable, self-motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in Klamath Falls, Oregon! The right candidate will be a supportive treatment partner with the Endodontist, and help make the office function more efficiently. In this role, youxe2x80x99ll ensure excellent patient care and service, as well as lift administrative/basic dental tasks from the dentistxe2x80x99s shoulders. Responsibilities: Prepare patient for treatment or evaluation while ensuring their comfort/helping to ease their anxiety. Accurately select and set up appropriate instruments, equipment and materials needed for each case. Effectively anticipate/assist the treatment process. Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the Dentist through 4-handed dentistry Take precision x-rays and CBCT scans Conduct inventories and supply ordering as instructed Keep the dental operatories clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records Skills: Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations X-ray Certification (CBCT scans also utilized) Computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Focused attention to detail Motivated, well-organized and reliable Strong time management abilities Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday.*Every other Wednesday is an early close/short day (~32 hour work week). *Competitive, experience and performance-based compensation *This is a non-smoking, non-vaping office Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 per week Schedule: Day shift Application Question(s): *Please include start date availability, should you be offered a position A COVER LETTER OF INTRODUCTION IS REQUIRED WITH RESUME SUBMISSION Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
