Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. We are a unique, art filled penthouse office with a therapy cat and a therapy dog. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients. Responsibilities: – Assist the dentist during dental procedures – Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits – Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment – Take and develop dental x-rays – Provide chairside assistance to the dentist – Educate patients on oral hygiene practices – Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions – Maintain accurate patient records Requirements: – Dental assisting experience (at least 2 years) – Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology – Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software – Familiarity with infection control and aseptic techniques – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
