Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take dental x-rays- Perform dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records- Assist with scanning for digital impressions and restorations Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Familiarity with medical documentation and recordkeeping- Ability to accurately code dental procedures using appropriate coding systems Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
