Full Time Dental Assistant Willing to Train the Right Person with Medical Experience Lilly Family Dentistry is looking for full time dental assistant to assist in restorative care and airway treatments. LFD is a biological dental office. What is Biological Dentistry? Essentially, biological dentistry and holistic dentistry are the same. The two terms are interchangeable, so itxe2x80x99s common to see them used within the same context. According to the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine, a biological dentist understands that the mouth and body are connected and that illness or disease that occurs inside the body is reflected orally and vice versa. Factors like stress, diet, and sleep patterns have a direct impact on oral inflammation and disease. Holistic dentistry is the practice of diagnosing, preventing, treating, and maintaining oral health using natural therapies. A biological dentist assesses a patientxe2x80x99s entire state of physical and emotional health before deciding on treatments. Dental assistants are responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of the dentist. The Dental Assistantxe2x80x99s primary responsibility is to prepare the examination rooms for appointments by properly sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist. They also assist the dentist during their procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment.
