As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position. Duties: – Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures – Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort – Take and develop dental X-rays – Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records – Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients – Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment – Assist with dental laboratory procedures, including 3D scanning – Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar – Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed Requirements: – MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred – Current CPR certification – Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols – Proficiency in dental documentation software such as Dentrix – Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality – Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus – Ability to take accurate dental X-rays – Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Benefits: – Competitive pay based on experience – Opportunities for professional development and continuing education – Additional benefits considered after 6 months If you are a motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this Dental Assistant position.
