Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care for patients and perform various tasks to support dental procedures. Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care Experience:- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant preferred- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or CAD- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment- practices- Ability to take vital signs and assist in patient assessment- Understanding of medical terminology for effective communication- Experience with X-Ray procedures Skills:- Proficiency in Epic software for patient management- Ability to assist in various dental procedures efficiently- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices- Competence in taking vital signs accurately- Knowledge of X-Ray techniques and safety protocols- Skilled in patient assessment and care coordination- Understanding of medical terminology for clear communication This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice, utilizing cutting-edge technology and providing excellent patient care.
