The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of periodontal treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care in a fast-paced dental office environment. **Responsibilities:** – Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations – Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment – Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs – Take dental x-rays and CBCT images – Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts – Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients – Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist – Maintain accurate patient records **Requirements:** – Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, 12+ months required. – Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols – Proficiency in medical documentation and Dentrix software preferred, but not required – Familiarity with dental assisting procedures including medical imaging, and vital signs – Understanding of human anatomy and dental terminology – Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality If you are a dedicated individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Dental Assistant.
