Full-Time Certified Dental Assistant, NC DA I or DA II We are offering a full-time position for a Certified Dental Assistant at a practice specialized in periodontics and dental implants. We want a positive, motivated team member to join our growing practice as we help provide quality care to our patients. We have a modern office, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team, and a dedicated dentist providing quality care. Computer knowledge is required. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association Pre-employment drug testing Assist the dentist in providing patient care. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and surgeries. Sterilize dental instruments and equipment. Enter patient treatment into software. Maintain accurate patient records and charts. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instruction. Place digital film sensors, expose digital radiographs and CBCT scans. Execute computer processing of the digital x-ray images. Maintain operatory to meet the clinic’s cleanliness and infection control standards.
