Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Lakewood Ranch Dentist. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting Dr. O’Brien during dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18 – $25 per hour
Responsibilities:
Assist Dr. O’Brien during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments
Take and develop dental X-rays
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Ensure patient comfort and safety during dental procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
