We are seeing a highly experienced only, dental assistant with knowledge & experience in periodontal treatment/therapy for our Southampton office. Travel to this office is a must, serious inquiries only!! This candidate must have at least 5 or more years experience and knows all periodontal surgeries, can take good x-rays, attention to detail and the needs of the office. In this position you will play a vital role in assisting the doctor to ensure the highest qualities of patient care. Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment room and instruments- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays (Dexis)- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessment, including taking vital signs and medical history- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy- Maintain accurate patient records Requirements: – Previous experience/knowledge of periodontal surgeries is a must – Proficient in using dental software- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with other staff members- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals Days/Hours are as is: (Hours change for the summer) Monday 8:30am – 5pm, 1hr lunch Tuesday 8:30-5pm, 1hr lunch Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, 1hr lunch Gas Travel Bonus is provided Job Type: Part-time Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 per week Benefits: Travel reimbursement Schedule: Day shift Ability to Relocate: Southampton, NY 11968: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
