Job Summary:We have multiple openings for a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician and Dental Assistant to join our dental team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our dental instruments and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to sterilize and maintain all dental instruments and equipment according to industry standards and infection control protocols. Duties:- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and supplies- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures by setting up instruments, materials, and equipment- Assist dental team members in chairside procedures as needed- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and order new supplies as necessary- Follow proper infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines Dental Assistant: This is an entry level position for someone that is looking to expand their skills and learn about Endodontics. Our assistants play a vital role in our patients treatment from performing diagnostic testing to placing temporary filling material once they are fully trained. Duties: – Seating patients and gathering information for the dentist – Performing diagnostic testing once trained – Working chairside with the doctor – Having strong communication with patients and the doctor – Charting -Maintaining a well stocked treatment room Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a dental or medical setting is preferred- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and systems- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques- Basic understanding of dental terminology- X-ray Certified Skills:- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain records- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the dental team- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines This is a full-time position offering competitive pay.
