Dental Hygiene Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. **Responsibilities:** – Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures – Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment – Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during examinations and treatment procedures – Take and develop dental X-rays – Maintain accurate patient medical records – Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment – Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies **Skills:** – Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining accurate records – Knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations – Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection – Ability to perform dental X-rays and assist with patient assessments – Experience with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records – Understanding of medical terminology Join our team as a Dental Assistant to contribute to the delivery of exceptional dental care while expanding your skills in a supportive environment.
