Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities: – Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth – Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans – Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide preventive dental care – Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed – Take dental x-rays and interpret results – Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans – Assist the dentist during procedures as required Experience: – Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Dental Hygienist – Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental – Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures – Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols – Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions – Experience working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Skills: – Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members – Proficient in using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for treatment planning – Ability to perform medical imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
