Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide preventive dental care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment- Document patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records Experience:- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience as a dental hygienist- Proficient in patient assessment and treatment planning- Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols, including HIPAA compliance- Knowledge of dental software systems for scheduling and record keeping- Understanding of dental assisting techniques and ability to assist the dentist during procedures- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy Skills:- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and treatment planning- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals- Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules and maintain efficient workflow Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Medical specialties: Anesthesiology Primary Care Surgery Schedule: Day shift Night shift Weekends as needed Weekends only Work Location: In person
