Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. This is a full-time position in a busy dental office. Duties:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Conduct screenings for oral health conditions such as periodontal disease and oral cancer- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies Qualifications:- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state]- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality- Strong understanding of infection control systems and practices- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well within a team environment We offer competitive compensation, including benefits such as medical insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
