Dental Hygienist

**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. **Duties:**- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, root planning and scaling, and polishing teeth- Take x-rays- Assess patients’ oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix)- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental office environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Qualifications:- Valid dental hygiene license in WV- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus- Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health records systems- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate patient assessment.
