Part time or full time dental hygienist position open. Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm (lunch 12-1) Friday 8:30am-12pm Local anesthesia and nitrous certificate highly valued. Job responsibilites include: Asessment of patient’s oral health conditions and oral cancer screening. Review patient’s dental history, medical history and provide appropriate treatment. Teach patients proper OHI. Take x-rays. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous as needed. Sterilize dental instruments. Setup and clean patient operatories. Clean other designated areas of the office during slow times of the week. Assist the dentist occasionally for procedures such as fillings. We take a slower pace than most offices and allow more time for each patient to give them the best care possible.
