Position Summary:As a Dental Hygienist at Dentex Dental Specialty Group, you will play a crucial role in patient care by providing preventive dental services and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, personable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This is an unassisted hygiene position. We are looking to add a hygienist to our Monday schedule. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients. Assess and document patients’ oral health conditions, including updating medical history. Take digital X-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to protect teeth. Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean and sterile work environment. Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene and attend continuing education opportunities. Qualifications: Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Current state license and CPR certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Proficient in using dental software and technology.
