As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. You will work closely with our dentists and dental assistants to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive dental care. Our office is dedciated to a optimal health approach to our care and collaborate with specialists in many medical fields for the best patient outcomes. “`Responsibilities“` – Perform dental scaling, prophylaxis, and/or periodontal maintenance for patients with varied periodontal conditions – Take and develop dental x-rays – Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed – Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions – Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems – Sterilize dental instruments and equipment “`Requirements“` – Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Nebraska – Proficiency in using digital imaging and experience with scanners and intraoral camaras – Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation, and records management – Experience working with pediatric patients – Strong attention to detail – Ability to effectively communicate with patients and work well in a team environment – Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is desired Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
