Requirements:- Valid dental hygiene license in [state]- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Proficient in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients Duties and Responsibilities: xe2x97x8f Ability to take digital X-rays, use intra-oral camera and take digital EO pictures xe2x97x8f Provide quality patient service by delivering thorough patient care, effective communication and personal attention in a gentle and caring manner. xe2x97x8f Assess and plan appropriate dental hygiene care including prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, debridement, periodontal maintenance and adjunct services. xe2x97x8f Complete dental hygiene procedures utilizing hand and mechanical scalers with a high degree of technical skill, and with little patient discomfort xe2x97x8f Educate patients on proper oral hygiene. xe2x97x8f Responsible for individual professional growth through internal and external training opportunities and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
