Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Duties:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement- Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging techniques- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions- Assist the dentist during procedures, including pediatric dentistry and restorative treatments- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for creating dental restorations- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Accurately document patient information and treatment plans in electronic medical documentation systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft- Conduct routine maintenance and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment Experience:- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for capturing dental x-rays- Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred Skills:- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and treatment planning- Proficient in using CAD systems for creating dental restorations- Knowledge of aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment- Ability to assist the dentist during procedures with precision and efficiency We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
