The Opportunity: Bluegrass Pediatric Dentistry is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Surgery Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, KY. Medical, Dental, Vision 401k match Paid holidays PTO 1 week off every Christmas Schedule: Tue 7:30am-5pm, Wed/Thu 6:30am-3pm, occasional Fridays 6:30am-3pm A Day In the Life Of: Surgery scheduling, hospital registration, pre-op physicals, insurance verification and prior authorizations. Coordinating with out-patient surgery facility and mobile anesthesia team. Parent communication. Collecting payments & paperwork. Assisting with answering the phone, patient check in and check out. What You’ll Bring To The Table: We are a fast-paced office, you must enjoy a busy day and be a strong multi-tasker Required experience: Microsoft Office, Administrative/Coordinator/Scheduling/Management (preferably in dental or healthcare), Patient/Customer service Preferred experience: insurance, dental and/or medical We are seeking a team member who will bring compassion, organization, attention to detail, able to meet deadlines, enjoys spreadsheets and checklists, able to handle the sometimes stressful and unpredictable nature of surgery scheduling, able to work with little oversight.
