**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. **Duties:** – Prepare patients for dental work – Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment – Assist the dentist during procedures – Take and develop dental x-rays – Educate patients on oral hygiene – Maintain accurate patient records **Experience:** The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications: – Proficiency in aseptic technique – Familiarity with Epic or similar medical record systems – Ability to assess patient needs effectively – Knowledge of CAD software for dental applications – Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus – Strong understanding of infection control protocols – Skilled in medical documentation practices – Comfort working with pediatric patients – Understanding of HIPAA regulations This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential support to patients and the dental team.
