Dental Patient Coordinator & Insurance Coordinator Description Chatfield Dental Care is a new dental clinic in Chatfield, MN opening it’s doors in August 2024. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Coordinator/Patient Coordinator to join our team on a full-time ( ~36hrs/week) basis. **Job Overview:** As an Insurance Coordinator/Patient Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling insurance claims, processing payments, and coordinating patient appointments. You will serve as the main point of contact for patients regarding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional customer service. **Responsibilities:** Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any billing issues Collect co-pays and payments from patients Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Assist patients with any questions or concerns regarding their insurance coverage Provide outstanding customer service to all patients and visitors Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience **Requirements:** High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a dental or medical office setting Proficiency with insurance billing and coding Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with dental software (Open Dental) is a plus *Salary Range: $20-28 per hour* **Benefits will include: PTO, paid holidays, dental benefits, 401k with matching.
