Position DescriptionA clinical assistant at Alpha Orthodontics is a motivated and compassionate professional who is responsible for aiding and supporting the orthodontist in achieving success in patient care. This person performs a variety of orthodontic clinical duties under the direction of Dr. Gleich, in order to achieve the best possible treatment outcome and comfort for the patient. Office is open 2 days/week in Albert Lea Mn Our ideal candidate is someone with a xe2x80x9ccan-doxe2x80x9d attitude, who is adaptable and quick to learn new skills and systems. Clinical duties would include direct patient care, taking quality orthodontic records including radiographs & photographs, the organization of supplies, assisting with inventory/ordering, sterilization and infection control, basic lab work, and cleaning. Additional duties would include, but not be limited to reception desk coverage and assistance to our front desk team when needed; entering transactions and utilizing computerized charting. Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have the ability to perform all physical and verbal duties of the position. Salary is competitive and based on experience, with benefit package included. Qualifications:Required Education & Credentials Active Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) with the State of Minnesota Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers Preferred Credentials Certified to use rotary instruments in the removal of bonding materials SkillsOur team is committed to delivering excellent service for our patients, and building a team who truly loves what they do as much as we do.
