Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Take dental x-rays- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist- Take and record vital signs of patients- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed- Assist with medical coding and billing- Maintain patient records and update information in the system Skills:- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Knowledge of dental software systems, such as Open Dental or CAD- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices- Ability to take dental x-rays- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
