We are looking for a full- time Licensed Orthodontic Dental Assistant. This position will be a travel position between Chelsea, Lynn, and Jamaica Plain, MA. The ideal Ortho Assistant for this position would have 2+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience. Pay: $30-32 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: To be discussed during interview. Mon-Friday and 2 Saturday’s per month. Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for treatment Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures Provide patient instructions and education on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health and provide instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA Maintain dental supply inventory and perform other job related duties Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Educations and Experience MUST have Massachsuetts DA License Radiology certificate is required CPR certificate is required Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred High School degree or equivalent is required Basic computer skills and knowledge is required Dental software experience is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Ortho Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Massachusetts Dental Assisting license (Required) Work Location: On the road
