Responsibilities: – Deliver high-quality and compassionate care to every patient – Guide parents and patients through the treatment process, ensuring they understand the procedures and feel comfortable – Educate patients on oral hygiene instructions and provide postoperative care instructions – Prepare patients for examinations and treatments – Take x-rays and accurately record them in patient charts – Maintain operational readiness of operatory rooms – Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures – Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment – Clean chairs and rooms to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards – Assist professional dental staff during treatments, including suctioning, holding retractors, and suture cutting during surgical procedures – Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts – Adhere to all government regulations and company standards Required Qualifications: – Graduation from a senior high school – High focus on customer service and satisfaction – Must have a passion for working with children – Compassion and a high level of service for patients, parents, and staff – Integrity and a commitment to always do the right thing – Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work according to the schedule – Attention to detail and strong organizational skills – Professional manner and appearance at all times – Computer literate Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: – X-ray certification – Certified dental assistant credentials may be required for specific positions Preferred Qualifications: – One year of office experience in a dentist’s or physician’s office – Experience with children’s dentistry Physical Demands: – Effective communication skills with patients, parents, and staff – Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time – Lift and carry up to 30 pounds – Ability to twist, turn, bend, and stoop If you are passionate about dental care, enjoy working with children, and want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients, we would love to hear from you.
