Overview: We are seeking a high energy, skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires great communication skills, knowledge of medical records management, and experience in dental assisting. Duties: – Assist the dentist during dental procedures – Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations – Take and dental x-rays – Perform dental charting and record vital signs – Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment – Provide post-operative instructions to patients – Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed – Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols – Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Skills: – Proficiency in EagleSoft or similar dental practice management software – Knowledge of medical records management and dental coding procedures – Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assistance during procedures – Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols – Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic dental procedures – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
