We are a growing practice looking for a team-oriented individual who is dedicated & reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages to add to our extraordinary team. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. Our modern office is fully equipped and uses eaglesoft software, intraoral cameras, CBCT panoramic xray machine and the industry leading state of the art TRIOS scanner. We strive to stay up to date with the latest technology in order to make our patients experience as pleasant and painless as possible. Our office is currently open Mon-Thurs with free onsite parking. Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before/during their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Screening patientsxe2x80x99 periodontal health Educating patients on proper oral hygiene Providing dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments Performing oral cancer screenings Identifying malocclusion and educating patients about potential impacts Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentist with selecting appropriate treatments for various conditions such as gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Local anesthetic certified X Ray certified Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid dental hygiene license to practice in MA. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist License (Preferred) X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
