DTLA Smile is a dental office in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Our goal is to create a community of expertly-trained professionals to deliver high quality dental services to the local community. We are fully digital and accept PPO insurances only. We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who embodies our core values and focuses on our patients with empathy and support. We are looking for an individual with these traits: Responsibilities Warmly welcomes customers in the dental office Contacting and communicating thoroughly with patients about hygiene appointments Educate and promote treatment and maintenance procedures Help organize and maintain a clean working environment Regularly checks in on hygiene patients Performs the highest standards of patient care Organizing patient charts Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly Recommend and apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth Performs patient screening procedures, including x-rays, and periodontal charting Helps with back office tasks Skills Proven experience as a hygienist and customer care Understands the roles as a provider Knowledge of dental health, maintenance, and nutrition Understanding of health & safety, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations Excellent computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized Reliable If you would like to join our amazing team, apply today!
