Duties: – Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take x-rays- Assess patients’ oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Administer local anesthesia- Maintain accurate patient records- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Skills: – Proficiency in pediatric dental care- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures- Familiarity with medical imaging for dental diagnosis- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately- Strong understanding of infection control practices in a dental setting- Skilled in performing aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
