MOUNTAIN VIEW PERIO is a modern medium-sized periodontal practice located in Mountain View, CA. We have 2 doctors on staff offering the latest technology in periodontal care. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and excellent communication skills who will be committed to our patient’s well-being by being gentle, compassionate, and giving quality care. We currently have a Wednesday and Thursday schedule available ASAP. Must be able to take x-rays and schedule recall appts. Visit us at www.mountainviewperio.com — NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE Benefits: 401K Sick pay Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans- Take dental x-rays- Document patient information and treatment plans in electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Assist the dentist during procedures, including providing suction, passing instruments, and taking impressions- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and sterile environment Qualifications:- Valid dental hygiene license in [ca]- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records systems such as Epic and Dentrix- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment procedures- Experience in dental assisting or working in a dental office setting is preferred- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care- Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to safety guidelines Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
