Registered Dental Hygienist

We are expanding and looking for a long-term temp RDH to fill in May – July! Flexible days and hours. Our established private practice is looking for a caring individual committed to providing exceptional patient care and clinical skill. The office is open Monday – Wednesday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an hour lunch and Thursday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. We offer excellent pay, monthly bonus, and paid parking with a doctor that is the absolute best with patients and staff! Salary Range: $35.00 – $50.00/hr Summary: Completes treatment of patientxe2x80x99s oral and periodontal care including patient education by performing the following duties. Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to: Perform Cleanings of teeth and gums; take necessary x-rays, take intra-oral pictures, complete periodontal charting; address patient’s hygiene and restorative needs; educate patient on what doctor will likely recommend in the form of treatment; documenting findings in the Practice Management software; clean/sterilize treatment room after each appointment. Sterilize and re-stock all instruments and bags after each appointment. Achieve individual daily hygiene production goal. Maintains proper knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliances and clinical skills. Non-essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to: As open times occur, make calls to patients due and not scheduled in hygiene. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
