Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health recommendations- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic)- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care Skills:- Proficient in medical documentation and record-keeping- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions- Experience working with electronic medical documentation systems ( Dentrix)- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills If you are a dedicated Dental Hygienist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives, we invite you to apply.
