Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for home care- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Take digital x-rays- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic health records- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care Experience preferred:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist- Dentrix- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols- Familiarity with dental office procedures and equipment- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health assessment techniques We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
