Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Pediatric Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Duties:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for oral care- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic medical records systems.- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment Experience:- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Pediatric Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred- Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols Skills:- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices- Proficiency in using dental imaging equipment and software for capturing and analyzing x-rays- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
