Job Summary:We are seeking a part-time skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our fantastic team in our state-of the art private practice! Friday 9-5, one to two Saturdays per month. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, conduct oral health assessments, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Duties:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including examination of teeth and gums- Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining oral health- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Skills:- In-depth knowledge of infection control procedures and practices- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements- Proficiency in dental software systems- Experience working in a dental office setting Requirements:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively We offer competitive compensation.
