Using the mPathways Inventory module to order, maintain stock levels, deliver and put away stock along with reporting. Manage Service Agreements, i.e.Interpretive services, Goodwill, Getige, Midwest and ACT along with the Implant Grant. Aid all or any department needing help with larger purchases requiring sole source document. Manage Non-Clinical Portion of the Student Instrument Program using the Axium Dispensing Module. Also includes the Instrument Shop, Sim Lab Benches including virtual bench, life cycle planning and the development of the Student Instrument fee and all Course/Lab fees. Good deal of time spent on annual check-in/check-out of instrument program materials for all 4 Dental Classes and 2 Hygiene Classes Supervise & Schedule Daily Activities for Clerical, Technical and AFSCME Staff: 1.8 AFSCME Stockkeepers, 2.0 Inventory Control Clerks, 2.0 Dental Repair Technicians and .6 Ordering Clerk Senior, Manage Dental Stores Front Counter Operations, maintain division of duties for cash handling/balance, credit card transactions, deposits and journal uploads. Manage Commercial Lab Program, computerized tracking and distribution of all lab cases using the Axium Lab Module. Manage Contract, negotiate shelf pricing with 6 individual labs. Contract renewed every 3 years, pricing evaluated yearly. SOA reconciliation monthly is used to monitor the Suppliers that they are adhereing to the shelf pricing. Manage Laundry Services. Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree 5-7+ years of experience Experience with supervising full-time staff (Clerical & Technical) Demonstrated experience working with ERP and inventory management systems. Demonstrated successful management of delivery, work-in-process control, distribution, buying, production, planning, and scheduling. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence. Excellent at holding our vendors and our partners “accountable” to our expectations and standards, all while building trust and deepening partnerships. High attention to detail, organization, and structure to problem-solving across multiple projects and deadlines. Strong computer skills and other technology skills. Desired Qualifications* Progressive experience in medical or dental setting is desired. Experience supervising bargained-for and non-bargained-for staff should be desired with Supervisory experience including, hiring, performance management, and development should be in required. Work Locations This position is for the School of Dentistry located at 1011 N University.
