“`Job Summary:“`We are seeking a skilled Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team. The Surgical Assistant will work closely with the doctor to provide support during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, patient assessment, and medical documentation. “`Duties:“`- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments and equipment- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure by following proper infection control protocols- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery- Monitor patients during surgery and provide appropriate assistance as needed- Document surgical procedures accurately and maintain detailed medical records- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care “`Qualifications:“`- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Surgical Assistant program preferred.- Previous experience in dental assisting, radiographic imaging, or related fields is a plus- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Familiarity with Dentrix and dexis record systems is a plus- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a dedicated professional looking to contribute to the success of our surgical team, please apply with your resume.
