Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Assist the Orthodontist in rendering patient care Reinforces oral hygiene and at home care instructions for orthodontic appliances to patients Seats and prepares the patients for treatment by untying the patient and removing arch wires Cleans operatory after treatment procedures Readies tray set-ups for procedures Monitors the operatory supply levels Sterilizes instruments Exposes and develops radiographs Utilizes the iTero scanner for patientsxe2x80x99 records Takes impression as needed for orthodontic appliances and pour up dental models Monitors receipt of Invisalign cases and ensures they are ready for the patientxe2x80x99s appointment Takes intraoral photos for dental records Fabricate essix retainers Maintain the office dental supply inventory control system, the lab tracking system, and OSHA Other duties as assigned Skills and Attributes Good planning and organizational skills Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Having the expertise to anticipate patientxe2x80x99s and dentist needs Computer literacy Job Specifications: Chairside Dental Assistant certificate preferable State of NC X-Ray Certification High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift 15-20lbs.
