Dental Assistant Job Description Our office is looking for a friendly, bright, self-motivated individual to join our team and become part of our team approach to help us in providing excellent, comprehensive dental care with a focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction. The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support and facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists. Dental Assistant Responsibilities xc2xb7 Greet and prepare patients for treatment xc2xb7 Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready xc2xb7 Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures xc2xb7 Taking and processing radiographs and intra-oral pictures xc2xb7 Provide post-operative instructions and patient education xc2xb7 Processing lab cases, impressions, and log of out-going and incoming cases xc2xb7 Perform other related job duties as assigned Dental Assistant Qualifications xc2xb7 Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments and hygiene xc2xb7 Experience administrating dental x-rays xc2xb7 Technical skills and proficiency with dental software xc2xb7 Organizational and multi-tasking skills, general office aptitude xc2xb7 Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state xc2xb7 Embrace a positive team approach to patient care xc2xb7 Experience in Invisalign and CEREC preferable – Perk! – paid parking Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person
