$1,000 Signing Bonus with 1 year commitment, payable after 3 months of employment. We are recruiting for Dental Assistants of all skill levels – pay is based on experience. POSITION SUMMARY: The Dental Assistant is the extended hand of the dentist and a vital member of the dental health professional team. Job duties include setting up the operatory for each patient, greeting and seating patients, preparing the patient for the dental exam or treatment, making accurate chart notes in Dentrix, performing x-rays, assisting the dentist in all dental procedures, and educating patients in dental hygiene, post-operative care, and fillings, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: Work Experience: One year of experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate. Experience with dental front desk and dental software preferred but not required. Education, Certification and Licensure: Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited dental assistant program and certification preferred but not required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for this position and must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Additional Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual preferred.
